Oh, to Have Rust Jewellery’s Opaque Diamond on My Finger…

It was with slight pangs that I discovered Junkaholique, and blogger Artemis’s jewellery line Rust Jewellery, soon after I got married last July. How was it possible the most idyllic wedding (and engagement) rings were hiding in London all this time?! Don’t get me wrong, I love my Georg Jensen engagement ring and Annoushka wedding rings (plural, yes — it’s a long story!) but Artemis and her husband Nao have got such an eye for creating floral-carved bands and roughly-hewn beds for glittering jewels.

Top of my list is their new opaque diamond cushion ring, which is a steal at £695 as an engagement ring…though pretty pricey for a Christmas present. Perhaps I’ll try the ol’ tried-and-tested “but my birthday is so close to Christmas, you could get it for me for BOTH occasions!” line?

They also have a gorgeous teardrop-shaped one too, if you know someone with deep pockets. *Rust Jewellery*

I pretty much want to get married just to have one of these pretty rings (and choose the dress, obv). Probably means I shouldn’t get married, eh?

  2. Heidi says:

so lovely! can you drop some hints to my boyfriend please?

  3. Normally I’d say you’re probably wanting to get married for all the wrong reasons, Katie, but in the case of Rust’s rings, I can’t disagree with you there ;)

Heidi…I suggest you blog about your top five/ten most-wanted engagement rings, and leave the tab open where he’ll see it. And then he can still surprise you, you see, but as you would’ve chosen them all, you’re bound to get something you like!
