Ten weeks down, 42 to go. Crazy-times. Last week was a blip in the process we call “time,” marked by many long nights in front of the TV rewatching Six Feet Under (I just bought the complete box-set — £50 well-spent, if you ask me); embroidering and making lots of really nice dinners from scratch. If I do say so myself.
In fact, the only vaguely social thing we did was have friends ’round on Sunday for cake and wine: Sean and Susie, Jeff and Lucie. I made too many baked goodies, and am still ploughing through them now — a rosewater cake; brownies, and fairy cakes. My bank account also mysteriously wound up being £120 lighter after I drunkenly purchased two tickets to see Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks in June. So excited!
